Description - Tetris & Dr. Mario for SNES

The Tetris Game was based on the NES adaptation using the Game Boy adaptation`s music. Gameplay remained the same as before. In addition to the 1 player and 2 player modes, a player vs. computer mode was available with three difficulty levels, played identically to the 2 player mode. The Dr. Mario game was based on the NES adaptation, while using the extended "Fever" music from the Game Boy version. Gameplay remained the same as before. As in Tetris, a player vs. computer mode was available with three difficulty levels, these represented by the three different colors of viruses in the game, blue being easy, yellow being medium, and red being difficult. It is notable that the graphics in this version are much better than other versions. This game was exclusively for two players. There were three rounds, the first being Tetris type-B gameplay, the second being Dr. Mario, and the third being Tetris type-A. The game was timed. Two players played simultaneously. Both players started on Tetris type-B, where the objective was to clear a certain number of lines. The first to clear that level moved on to Dr. Mario, where the objective was to clear all the viruses in play. The first to accomplish that task would move on to Tetris type-A, which had no objective and would continue until time expired. If at any time the screen was filled up, that player would restart that level. After time expired, the points from each level would be totaled, and a winner would be declared. The number of lines or viruses to be cleared, the speed at which blocks or pills would fall, or the time limit could be set to any level in the custom mode.
